2 Timothy 1:8-10, 15-18

The Gospel of God

What is the gospel really about? In our world, “good news” gets redefined every day—be yourself, find success, be a good person. But the Bible gives us something far greater. In 2 Timothy 1:8–10, 15–18, Paul reminds Timothy (and us) that the gospel isn’t advice or self-help. It’s not a burden to carry. It’s an announcement of victory—that Jesus Christ has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light. In this message we’ll see why the true gospel often meets opposition, why it’s nothing to be ashamed of, and why following Jesus is always worth the cost.
