Our team is dedicated to serving both God and the community of Berthoud with so that the message of Christ will dwell richly in northern Colorado. They desire to make disciples of Jesus who reflect his glory and equip others to disciple making.

Wayne Delso
Lead Pastor
Wayne and his wife Dani are both native Texans. After marriage in 2010, they moved to Belton to begin teaching careers. There they plugged into a local church that discipled them, encouraged them, and equipped them to be not only ministry leaders but also devoted Christ-followers and disciple-makers.
At this time, while the Delsos’ heart was beginning to break for unreached people in the West and wanting to see the gospel go to distant places, Wayne began to feel a call to ministry and church planting. In 2021, the Delsos moved to Midland to begin serving in a local church with Wayne on staff in student ministry until being called to Colorado to plant a new church.
From the beginning, their family has grown. Today, they have four children. The Delsos enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and spending time outside any way they can.
They love life in Colorado, sharing the good news and hope that comes only through the gospel of Christ. They love the city of Berthoud, and call it home.

Cade Elkins
Worship Pastor
Cade was born and raised in Central Texas, in the city of Belton. From a young age, he experienced the deep and transforming love of God through his local church. It was there that he not only discovered his love for Jesus but also his passion for people—wanting everyone to know the hope of the gospel and the beauty of the Church.
His journey in ministry began in his youth group, where he first led worship. He knew then that God was calling him to serve the Church. Throughout high school and college, Cade continued to lead worship, grow in his faith, and serve the Church.
Cade loves going to concerts, drinking coffee, and getting to know people. His heart for people led him to study social work, as he desires to see others experience the freedom and joy of worshiping God.
Cade’s love for Jesus is contagious—he’s not afraid to worship with abandon, just like David dancing in the streets as the ark returned. Whether he’s leading worship or simply sharing life with others, his greatest joy is pointing people to the God who loves them deeply.
